Tribal Study At-a-Glance

Tribal Study, a specialty program of Tribal Solutions Group, provides work-at-your-own-pace courses designed for tribal entities and their tribal-owned enterprises such as casinos and resorts.

With the Tribal Study program, your members can focus on the courses they need to reach their education goals.

K-12 COURSES

With Tribal Care, you can customize courses to meet the unique needs of your tribal population. Courses can include:

  • Core Subjects (Math, English as a Second Language-ELA, Science, and Social Studies)
  • Elective Subjects (State Aligned Electives, Health & PE, Career and Technical Education, Fine Arts, and Business Electives)

PROGRAMS AVAILABLE

Boost Program: Our Boost Program focuses on one of the leading causes of the achievement gap in education: the opportunity gap. Our Program can fill in some of the missing pieces for students facing a scarcity of educational and social opportunities by virtue of their familial or social situations.

Elevation Program: We can provide comprehensive virtual courses for core and elective middle/high school subject areas for students to accrue credit.

Benchmark Testing: We offer benchmark assessments, used to track grade-level mastery and to assess end-of-year outcomes.

Blended Learning: Our platform uses cutting-edge Learning Management Software (LMS) to accommodate blended learning.

Drop Back In: Students in your tribe will be recruited to bring them back to school to earn a high school diploma through an accelerated high school learning community.

Grade Recovery: Students are provided online curriculum at the middle or elementary school level for students who have fallen behind their peers academically to regain their grade level status.

Remediation: Students are provided individualized online content and on-demand, live instructors. Students receive supplemental, targeted standards-based content custom tailored to the students' specific needs.

RIT: We partner with NWEA(insert TM here) MAPĀ® assessment to help generate Individualized Learning Plans (ILP).

Adult Education: The curriculum is accredited and over-aged students can be transferred and graduated. Courses in 23 career clusters are offered for students from middle school to college.

We combine powerful content, dynamic live instruction, and unparalleled technology to enhance the performance of students. With the combination of on-demand one-to-one online live instruction and self-paced interactive content, essay review, and asynchronous messaging of instructors, students can access a wide variety of content and support, whatever the schedule, learning style, or specific need they may have.

  • Instructional design provides students with opportunities to improve learning skills using technological tools (e.g., An electronic notepad allows students to take notes and print)
  • Navigation is intuitive and age-appropriate
  • Lessons include a downloadable list of vocabulary words with definitions, study guides, and worksheets
  • Scope, of course, is appropriate with regard to amount of content, length of course and lessons, and course requirements
  • Lesson introduction is effective and presents lesson objectives, accesses prior knowledge, sets expectations, and motivates with interactives
  • A searchable dictionary. Words can be searched on the web and Wikipedia.
  • Projects are included and are set up based on district or school specifications
  • At the end of each lesson, the student will answer embedded post-lesson assessments (Formative and summative assessments)
  • Develops problem-solving and critical thinking skills

GRADE RESULTS

Grade Results partners with districts to offer a blended instructional, community based solution for nontraditional students who desire to re-enroll in high school to complete courses and receive a diploma.

Grade Results partners with community based organizations to recruit students and facilitate the student re-engagement process.

The instructional program offers:

  • 80% computer assisted instruction through Grade Results software program at www.graderesults.com.
  • The program includes self-paced courses AND live one-to-one instructional support with an online instructor.
  • The remaining 20% of the program includes content taught through direct instruction by state certified teachers.
  • Students have the choice of three daily time slots, which consist of 5 hour sessions, to complete state graduation requirements.

Session options include:

  • Morning: 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • Afternoon: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Evening: 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

As of the 2014-2015 school year, 725 students have graduated. The percentage of students graduating per school year ranged from 90% - 93%.

  • In the Armed Forces serving our country: Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines
